In the Ancient world there appeared first military theorists, and the works described military art of armies and ways of training of armies appeared together with them. So, Vegetius - the Roman historian (4-5th centuries c.e.) has published work «Summaries of military science» in which he has described the content of military-applied physical training of armies. He paid a big attention to the characteristic of techniques of <font color="blue">hand-to-hand fight.</font> Besides regular training of manipulation with the weapon, the following activities were also wide practiced: running, wrestling, fisticuffing, swimming without clothes and then in all equipment. In <font color="blue">hand-to-hand fight</font> not all is solved with physical strength, that’s why from the first training, alongside with physical and technical training, the psychological training is provided to remove complexes and attitudes, destructive for <font color="blue">hand-to-hand fight</font>. The program of training includes also studying of medical complexes for rehabilitation after hard trainings and for development of flexibility, leg-splits, flexibility of joints.
